I need the. Cooking directions for your japanese sushi rice.
I have found a Japanese sushi rice recipe on the web.
1) Rice should be rinsed 3-4 times to ensure rice is less sticky when cooked. The water should be more or less clear after rinsing.
2) After rinsing and draining, the rice to water ratio should be 1 cup of dried rice to 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons of water. This should be put in a pot on high until the water and rice begins to boil.
3) Then reduce the heat to low until the water is absorbed into the rice. (Around 5 minutes)
4) After that, remove the pot from the stove and let it sit for 10 minutes. This ensures that the rice is of the correct texture.
